About the Role

Allied Global Marketing is looking for a Search Optimization Specialist who understands both traditional search engine optimization and emerging AI-driven discovery environments.

This role sits at the intersection of SEO, App Store Optimization (ASO), and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO). You will work on improving brand visibility not only in traditional search results but also across AI-powered search platforms and answer engines.

As a senior individual contributor, you will lead hands-on optimization across websites and app ecosystems while helping Allied Global Marketing adapt to the evolving landscape of AI-mediated search experiences.

You will collaborate closely with strategy, paid media, and earned media teams to ensure search optimization strategies are scalable, measurable, and aligned across channels.


What You’ll Do

Technical SEO & Search Optimization

  • Lead and execute technical SEO initiatives to improve organic visibility and site performance.

  • Conduct comprehensive SEO audits and on-page optimizations.

  • Implement and manage schema markup and structured data.

  • Perform log file analysis, crawl optimization, and indexation management.

  • Improve site architecture and internal linking strategies.

  • Conduct keyword research and competitive analysis using both traditional and AI-assisted methods.


Generative Engine Optimization (GEO)

  • Optimize websites and content for AI-powered search experiences and answer engines.

  • Improve brand visibility in AI-driven platforms such as:

    • ChatGPT

    • Claude

    • Perplexity AI

  • Identify opportunities to increase brand citations and presence in AI-generated responses.

  • Partner with content, PR, and paid media teams to strengthen signals that influence generative search systems.


App Store Optimization (ASO)

  • Own and execute ASO strategy across major app marketplaces.

  • Optimize app store elements including:

    • App titles and metadata

    • Descriptions and keywords

    • Screenshots and preview assets

  • Monitor reviews, ratings, and competitive benchmarks to improve app visibility and conversion rates.


AI Tools & Search Intelligence

  • Use and manage modern AI-powered SEO and search tools, including:

    • Surfer SEO

    • NeuronWriter

  • Use LLM platforms such as:

    • ChatGPT

    • Claude

  • Evaluate emerging tools and platforms to maintain cutting-edge search optimization strategies.

  • Ensure AI-generated outputs align with brand tone, accuracy, and performance expectations.


Collaboration & Client Support

  • Translate complex SEO, ASO, and GEO insights into clear, actionable recommendations.

  • Support client-facing presentations, performance reporting, and optimization audits.

  • Align organic search strategies with paid media and earned media campaigns to drive integrated marketing performance.


Required Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in technical SEO strategy and implementation.

  • Strong expertise in:

    • Technical SEO audits

    • Crawl management and indexation

    • Site architecture and internal linking

    • Schema markup and structured data

  • Experience using SEO analytics platforms such as:

    • Google Analytics 4

    • Google Search Console

  • Experience managing App Store Optimization (ASO) initiatives.

  • Practical knowledge of AI-driven search ecosystems and generative search technologies.

  • Familiarity with modern SEO and AI-powered optimization tools.

  • Strong analytical thinking with the ability to turn data insights into strategic recommendations.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Experience experimenting with AI-driven optimization workflows.

  • Ability to design and scale search optimization systems and frameworks.

  • Experience presenting search performance insights to internal teams and clients.
