Website Rhoda AI

Rhoda AI is building the full-stack foundation for the next generation of humanoid robots — from high-performance, software-defined hardware to the foundational and video world models that power it. Our robots are designed to be true generalists, capable of operating in complex real-world environments and handling scenarios they've never encountered in training. We work at the intersection of large-scale learning, robotics, and systems engineering, with a research team drawing from Stanford, Berkeley, Harvard, and beyond. With over $400M raised, we're investing aggressively in R&D, hardware development, and manufacturing scale-up. We're not building a feature — we're building a new computing platform for physical work.

The Role

As Marketing Communications Manager, you will shape how the world understands what Rhoda AI is building. This is a high-ownership role at a pivotal moment — our story is just beginning to be told, and you’ll be the person telling it. You’ll work directly with leadership, technical teams, and external partners to craft communications that resonate with researchers, engineers, investors, and the broader public.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute targeted social media strategies across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube to drive engagement, brand awareness, and company messaging
  • Write and produce compelling content for social media, press releases, product launches, and internal communications — tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external PR and branding agencies while independently managing select communications functions
  • Translate complex technical advancements in generative AI, computer vision, and robotics into clear, accurate, and compelling narratives
  • Plan and execute external marketing events including tradeshows and conferences, and coordinate internal team events
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and executives to ensure messaging accuracy and strategic alignment
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to continuously sharpen Rhoda’s communications strategy

What We’re Looking For

Must have:

  • 5+ years of experience in marketing communications within the technology sector
  • Proven ability to strategize and execute social media campaigns across LinkedIn, X, and YouTube
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills — able to distill complex technical topics into clear, compelling messages for varied audiences
  • Experience managing relationships with external agencies and vendors
  • Strong collaborative instincts with the ability to work effectively alongside highly technical teams
  • Self-motivated, highly organized, and creative under ambiguity

Nice to have:

  • Background or genuine interest in generative AI, computer vision, or robotics
  • Experience in a startup or high-growth tech environment
  • Track record of executing successful tradeshows or product launch events
  • Familiarity with the humanoid robotics or embodied AI landscape

Why This Role

  • Own the voice of one of the most technically ambitious robotics companies in the world
  • Work directly with leadership with real influence over how Rhoda AI shows up publicly
  • Be part of a frontier research team building technology that doesn’t exist anywhere else
  • On-site in Palo Alto — at the center of where this industry is being built
